Course Summary This module provides learners with a foundational understanding of computers and operating systems. It introduces the basic concepts of computer technology, including the different types of computers, hardware components, software applications, and how these elements work together to perform tasks efficiently. Learners will explore the functions of an operating system, its role in managing computer resources, and how it serves as an interface between users and computer hardware. The module also covers common operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS, enabling participants to understand their features and practical applications. Through hands-on activities, students will learn how to start and shut down a computer properly, manage files and folders, customize system settings, install and uninstall software, and perform basic troubleshooting tasks.
