Global Computer Youth Group (GCYG) is a premier computer training institution located in Hagadera, founded on October 17, 2017. created to empower the community with essential digital skills. Today, GCYG stands as the most respected and effective ICT training institution in the Fafi and Dadaab areas.

Our Journey
In its early days, GCYG was run by a dedicated founding team of six. By late 2018, four of the members withdrew, leaving Salah Muse Mahdi (Leader) and Yusuf Farah Hassan (Speaker) to continue managing the center. In April 2024, Yusuf Farah exited the group with Salah’s agreement, leaving Salah as the sole founder, leader, and owner of GCYG.
Over the years, we have proudly trained hundreds of students in vital ICT skills, helping them to improve their career prospects and contribute to community development.
What We Do
GCYG specializes in practical ICT training designed for real-world application. Our programs include:
- Basic Computer Applications Training – for beginners and professionals.
- Advanced Diploma Programs – with specialized IT knowledge.
- Workshops & Seminars – covering social media, digital marketing, and emerging technologies.
- Community Outreach – providing affordable access to ICT education for youth and adults.
On average, we train:
- 120 students annually in computer applications.
- 20 students annually in advanced diploma programs.
